Your Participation Has Never Been So Important

Alzheimer’s disease has negatively affected our loved ones, our families, and our community for far too long. Will you stand with us against this dreadful disease?

There is so much we don’t know about Alzheimer’s disease and aging in minority communities.

Your participation in this project will help researchers to gain a better understanding of the reasons that Black Americans are at a higher risk for developing Alzheimer’s disease, factors that may contribute to memory loss in Black American populations, and factors that may serve as a protection against the disease.

What we learn from this project will help researchers in the future to better understand how to treat the disease and, hopefully, one day, how to cure it.

Thank you again for your willingness to be a part of the BA-UMAP Study!
