Our Wellness Corner is dedicated to providing resources and education about the health of older Black Americans. As we age, our bodies undergo changes that can impact our health and well-being. This can be especially true for Black Americans, who may face unique challenges related to healthcare access, systemic racism, and cultural barriers. However, with the right information and resources, we can take control of our health and live our best lives.
We will explore a variety of topics related to health and wellness, including physical health, mental health, nutrition, and specifically dementia, and Alzheimer’s disease.
Our goal is to provide you with the tools and knowledge you need to make informed decisions about your health and to empower you to live your life to the fullest. So, let’s get started
